Poly Tsitsoni – Vivien

Born in Thessaloniki with a european personal, educational and professional background. She has the Greek and French citizenships.

Poly is a Lawyer at the Supreme Court of Greece and an accredited Mediator in Civil and Commercial Disputes at the official list of the Hellenic Ministry of Justice. She has graduated from the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and holds a Master of Laws II (LLM) in European Law from the University Paris I – Sorbonne. She has also attended post graduate courses in Philosophy and Sociology of Law in the Sorbonne University Paris II.

After a large experience as a litigator and a legal counselor, Poly has been interested in ADR issues (Alternative Disputes Resolutions) and she acquired a Certification in Mediation by the Toolkit Company (The Neederlands) and Pireaus Center of Mediation followed by an official Accreditation of the Greek State. She was also trained in Interest Based Negotiations according to the Harvard Method, Commercial and Intra-company Mediation (CMAP,France), in Mediation in Family Disputes (MIKK e.v. International Organization in Berlin for cross-border child abduction, visitation and custody conflicts), in Intellectual Property Mediation (OHIM,Spain) and in Mindful Awareness for Mediators, Restorative Justice and Challenging Community dialogues situations (Mediators Beyond Borders USA).

Starting by an international professional experience in Africa, (Cameroun) and Europe (French and Belgium), she established her law office in Athens, formerly named P.K.TSITSONI & ASSOCIATES and now TSITSONI-VIVIEN LAW AND ADR OFFICE.

She specializes in the field of business and civil law for multinational and greek clients and investors (corporate, commercial, competition, finance, civil law and labor matters, negotiations, litigations). She works in 3 languages, Greek, French and English.

She has published articles such as: DROIT DES AFFAIRES. INTERNATIONAL – CEE, Paris (No 467/1987 Commercial representation in Greece, No 479/1988 Foreign investments in Greece), FUSIONS & ACQUISITIONS (July – August 2005 Principles and Practice for fusion, purchase and merger of companies in Greece), REVUE DE UBIFRANCE – GRECE (2014 – Mediation, a new tool for business in Greece to effectively resolve disputes).
